Annual Prizes
I hold the winners of the HGS annual prizes in the highest regard. Here were open competitions, and those selected for the top prize obviously stood out from the relevant crowd. They had a special talent. I could never even consider that I would win any prize at HGS. There were so many talented people in the establishment.
The website lists as many winners as I could find. The names go back to the earliest days of HSS. You will probably know some of them from your own era. If so, you will quite possibly know what special talents they had.
